When April Lopez and her family welcomed two rescue dogs into their home, she did not realize it would turn into a doggone business venture. Lily, a Weimaraner, and Maximus (Max), a Jack Russell terrier, both suffered from severe allergies, causing them to have stomach issues. April struggled to find dog treats that would not make them sick, but to no avail.

April, founder of Lily and Max Pet Bakery, shares how a love for pups, a dash of perseverance, and a whole lot of belief in herself sparked a tail-wagging business adventure.
